MEMO TO: Clerk -Administrator and City Council / <br />i FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Developmen <br />DATE: October 30, 1986 <br />SUBJECT: HOWARD KUTCHER VARIANCE REQUEST <br />PLANNING CASE NO. 198-86 <br />Attached please find the following: <br />(1) My September 25, 1986, memo to the Planning Commission <br />and its attachments. <br />(2) Minutes of the Planning Commission's October 15, 1986, <br />meeting. <br />The Planning Connnission denied Mr. Howard Kutcher's variance <br />request. The Planning Commission then voted on a motion to <br />recommend to the City Council that the maximum size of garages be <br />increased from a 3-car garage to a 4-car garage, <br />I am not sure if Mr. Kutcher will be present on Monday night. I <br />have been unable to reach him by phone and he has not sent a <br />letter indicating that he will appeal the Planning Commission's <br />denial of his variance request. <br />Staff requests Your direction on increasing the maximum size for <br />., a garage. <br />.L <br />SWT/bac <br />4L <br />
