4. Relationship of Proposed Project to Funding Criteria <br />The proposed project directly relate to Funding <br />Criteria Appendix G. in that the update of the City's �+ <br />Comprehensive Plan will be the framework for the <br />modification of the City's other land use or development <br />control and any update will require it be consistent <br />with the policies set forth in the Metropolitan <br />Development Guide. Assistance is being requested of the <br />Metropolitan Council due to the City's inability to <br />finance this project on a short-term basis. <br />5. Work Program <br />The Mounds View City Council and Planning Commission are <br />currently in the process of working out the details of a <br />work program with a qualified planning professional who <br />has been selected to assist the City with this project. <br />The basic framework, for the project is as follows: <br />Establish Goals and Objectives <br />Resident survey to determine the community's <br />desires. <br />. Update Comprehensive Plan <br />Update Zoning Code and Subdivision Regulations <br />The City has committed to funding this project in the <br />amount of $20,000 spread out over a 4 year period �. <br />commencing in 1986. <br />Completion Date <br />Due to the fact that a final work program has not been <br />established, no completion date has been set, however, <br />it is anticipated that the entire process would take no <br />more than 18 months. <br />7. Other Financial Assistance <br />The City has committed to funding this project at the <br />level of $5,000 per year for 4 years. No other direct <br />funding is available, however, significant committment <br />of staff time and City equipment and facilities has also <br />been made to ensure the successful completion of the <br />projecc. <br />Loan Requested <br />S15,000 <br />
