ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF ACCESS MANnGEMENT STRUCTURES <br />The following list of advantages and disadvantages was developed <br />from: 1) communications with persons involved in the various <br />structures; and, 2) from a review of those access success standards <br />developed by the Commission to date. Advantages and disadvantages <br />regarding all types of community access (public, educational, <br />government, etc.) were considered in compiling this list. <br />A. ACCESS MANAGED BY AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION <br />1. Advantages <br />a. video production, technical and training <br />expertise may be available through staff and/or students <br />b. 'facility support (space, utilities, telephone, <br />vehicle, etc.) could be provided for community access <br />
