- 9t"',
MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council
I
FROM: City Planner Herman
DATE: August 30, 1988
SUBJECT: OMAN MINOR SUBDIVISION REQUEST, 8205 GROVELAND ROAD,
PLANNING CASE NO. 244-88
Attached is a resolution for denial of a minor subdivision
request by Mr. Oman. Mr. Oman requested to subdivide tt:e front
100 feet from his existing lot. While this would provide for the
proper lot width and lot size, it was determined by thu City
Attorney that it did not provide for adequate street frontage for
the existing home anJ lot. This decision is based on the
definition of "Lot" found in Chapter 40.
Chapter 40.02, Subd. B
(57) Lot. Land occupied or to be occupied by 'a building
ana its accessory buildings, together with slich open
spaces as are raquired under the provisions of these
zoning regulations, having not less than the minimum
area required by this Zoning Code fcr a building'
site in the district in which such lot is situated
and having its principal frontage on a street, or a
Proposed street approved by the Council.
KH/BAC
