He added this process will help <br />everyone. <br />Mr. Sandidge stated the residents need tine to get <br />the information and review it, and it was only due <br />to an error on the part of Staff in issuing the <br />Public notice that they had additional time with the <br />last wetlands proposal. He stated he has been moni- <br />toring the Planning Commission and city Council <br />agendas and meetings. <br />Mayor Linke noted the residents could not get any <br />earlier notice than what they are getting now. <br />Councilmember Quick stated they have consistently <br />stalled public hearings to allow the constituents to <br />come forth and make their complaints, and they could <br />do so again. <br />Ms. Ayaz asked for reassurance that if any questions <br />or problems come up, that no action would be taken at <br />the public hearing. <br />4 Councilmember Hankner replied that was reasonable to <br />expect that. <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she has questions also <br />and does rot plan on making a decision at the public <br />hearing. It will be used as an opportunity to get input from the developer, residents and Council. <br />Councilmember Hankner asked what control the Council <br />has over the EAW. Clerk/Administrator Pauley replied <br />the Coun..il has total control as long as they are in <br />compliance with governing rules. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Wuori to set a public hearing <br />for 7:05 PM on October 24, 1988 for a wetland altera- <br />tion permit, for Wetland 7-24. <br />5 ayes G nays <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Blanchard to approve Reso- <br />lution No. 2391, approving a conditional use permit <br />request for Steve Leguil to construct an oversized <br />garage at 8024 Woodlawn Drive, Planning Case No. <br />234-88, and waive the reading. <br />V 5 ayes <br />0 nays <br />0 <br />Motion Carried <br />Consideration of <br />Resolution <br />No. 2391 <br />Motion Carried <br />
