DATE APPROVED: 11/14/88 <br />Ej <br />1 m) <br />too <br />PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIA <br />-*. — rl,, V <br />' `^ r��'' ME <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW i y� .1 L <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />2401 Hwy. 10, <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by <br />Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 24, 1988. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Wuori, Quick, <br />Blanchard, Hankner and Mayor Linke. <br />Regular Meeting I <br />October 24, 1988 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Karney, Clerk/Administra- <br />tor Pauley. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Wuori to approve the October <br />10, 1988 minutes as corrected. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Bill Frit3, 8072 Long Lake Road, questioned why three <br />different water districts were listed for voting on <br />the absentee ballot, and whether it was valid. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained they had -just been <br />race:.ved earlier in the day and he had not had an <br />cpportur.ity to look at thee. He explained they w-re <br />printed in Chicago, by Ramsey County. Later in the <br />meeting, after briefly reviewing the ballot, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley stated the question would have <br />to be referred to Ramsey County. He stated he would <br />get an answer from them and call Mr. Frits. <br />Carolyn Baster'ash, Health and Safety Chairman of the <br />Pinewood PTA, explained the McGruff Safe House Program <br />they are looking at for this area. She explained it <br />involves coordination with the Police Department and <br />she has been working with Lt. Brick on getting a pro- <br />gram set up. The initial cost of signs to go in windows <br />is $1 per sign, and they would like to start with 100, <br />and she asked the Council to consider funding this cost. <br />It was .the concensus of the Council to discuss it at <br />1. Call to <br />order <br />2. Pledge of <br />Allegiance <br />3. Roll Call <br />4. Approval of <br />Minutes: <br />October 10, <br />1988 <br />Motion Carr <br />5.
