Mounds View City Council November 14, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Nine <br />---------------------- <br />Councilmember Wuori reminded everyone that tomorrow Councilmember <br />is recycling day. Wuori <br />Mayor Linke reported the Ramsey County League of Mayor Linke <br />Local Governments would be meeting at Mounds View <br />City Hall on November 16. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reviewed the feedback 18. Report of <br />from the library board regarding election of a Clerk/ <br />site. He stated the item would be on the November Administrator <br />21 agenda, and City Planner Herman will provide a <br />report and evaluation of all available property on <br />Highway 10 that meets the criteria of the Library <br />Board. <br />Motion./Second: Linke/Blanchard to approve Resolu- <br />tion Nr o. 2413, approving the appointment of Ric <br />Minetor as a permanent full-time employee, and <br />waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported he had researched <br />the laws concerning the special e�e(-.tioa to fill the <br />seat t:.at will be vacated when Councilmember Hankner <br />assumes the position of Mayor in January, and April 11 <br />is the soonest the election can be held, with the <br />person wt..) is elected to assume that office on April <br />24. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported that, assumin3 <br />SYSCO/Minnesota is completed .in 198.9, there would be <br />over S40 million in commercial development between. <br />1986 and 1989 in the City, compared to less than $1 <br />million for the four years prior to that. <br />Mayor Linke adjourned the meeting at 9:23 PM. 1 19.
