RESOLUTION NO. 2420 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CLERK-ADMINSTRATOR TO <br />ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPERTMENT <br />OF TRANSPORTATION TO UPGRADE TRAFFIC SIGNAL SYSTEM ALONG <br />TRUNK HIGHWAY 10 DETWEEN SILVER LAKE ROAD AND COUNTY ROAD H <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transporation has <br />undertaken a project for upgrading the traffic signal system <br />along Trunk Highway 10 between Silver Lake Road ani County Road <br />H; and; <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation, <br />Ramsey County, and the City of Mounds View have joint <br />responsibility for this traffic signal system. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View enter into an agreement with the State of <br />Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following <br />purposes, to wit: <br />To remove the existing traffic control signal and install <br />a new traffic control signal with street lights and <br />signing on Trunk Highway 10 at County State Aid Highway <br />No. 44 (Silver Lake Road) - County Road 12G (Red Oak <br />Drive); revise the existing traffic control signals with <br />street lights and signing on Trunk Highway 10 at County <br />Road 82 (County Road I) - County State Aid Highway No. 3 <br />(County Road I), Count- State Aid Highway No. 45 (Long <br />Lake Road), County State Aid Highway No. 5 (County Road <br />H-2) - County Road H-2, and at County State Aid Highway <br />No. 77 (County [wad H) - County Road H; install <br />interconnect on Trunk Highway No. 10 from County State Aid <br />Highway No. 44 (Silver Lake Road) - County Road 126 (Red <br />Oak Drive) to County State Aid Highway No. 77 tCounty Road <br />H) - County Road H in accordance with the terms and <br />conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 65362, <br />a copy of which was before the Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, the proper City officers be <br />and hereby are authorized to execute such agreement, and thereby <br />assume for and on behalf of the City ail of the contractual <br />obligations contained therein. <br />N <br />
