He is in favor of parking along <br />the park side of the street. <br />The Parks and Recteation Commission asked staff to request the Police <br />Department to recommend "NO PARKING" signs to be placed along the <br />residential side of Hillview ana Greenwood Roads. <br />5. tocatedinextttotthennorthwestoringcorner ofhHillviewnParkvfrequently gets <br />balls hit into their yard from people playing on the f::eld. <br />The Parrs and Recreation commission wishes to propose the installation <br />of an 8 foot fence along the outfield perimeter. This fence should <br />provide an aid in Preventing some of these long bill hits. <br />It was explained that only adult women softball teams and ,young <br />youth teamc are given permits for use of Hillview field. It is <br />during pick-up teen baseball and men's adult softball practices <br />that this problem occurs. <br />The Parks and Recreation commission made and seconded a motion recommending <br />the appr,,al of of <br />iew <br />rk using <br />receivedo <br />ofor park hdedication ofees tfrom tlevAmoco aOil Company hfor1the <br />following: <br />Move the building and install a permanent $ 6,000.00~ <br />foundation and entry ramps <br />Electrical wurk for the building ..................... <br />Landscaping ....... ................................... <br />1,275.00 <br />Grading and ir.acal.lation of two storm water drains ... <br />2,0GG.00 <br />Installation of an 8 foot fence &long the 4,000.00 <br />outfield perimeta•...............................6 <br />This motion was passed unanimously. <br />It is the recommerdatiun of the Commission that one-half of the existing rink <br />lights iu� used while three poles of lights are removed to make room for the <br />relcation of the hockey rink. <br />The lighting will be substandard for one season. It is the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission's recommendation that <br />Nmonies <br />wbebudgeted for 1990 to <br />purchase and install adequate lighting for <br />In addition, the Parks and Recreation Commission made and seconded a motion <br />recommending the approval for the installation of the playground equipment to <br />be located in the current tot lot location at Hillview Park as soon as <br />possible. This motion passed unanimously. <br />
