Award Bid for <br />ceived for the printing of the 1989 City newsletter 1989 City <br />and she recommended the low bid of Advanced Printing Newsletter <br />in the amount of $8,800 for six issues, with the <br />funds -'to come from the Administrative fund and <br />Recreation fund jointly. <br />Wuori/Hankner: Wuori/Hankner to award the bid for <br />the 1989 City newsletter to Advance Printing in <br />the amount of $8,880. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Park Director Saarion explained the proposal was <br />submitted to the Park and Rec Commission some time <br />ago, and the plan would give the City a viable way <br />of setting a policy for the maintenance of Silver <br />View Park pond. She explained it wasa concensus <br />of the group present the night of the meeting to <br />omit two items, numbers 4 and 5, due to little <br />interest, and it was further discussed by the Park <br />and Rev Commission and City Staff, and the decision <br />was made through those discussions to eliminate those <br />two items. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she would like more time <br />to look at the proposal and perhaps add back in the <br />omitted options. <br />Motion Carried <br />10. Consideration of <br />Approval of Con- <br />tract from <br />Environmental <br />Specialists for <br />Management P <br />Silver View Pa <br />Park and-Rec Director Saarion explained the omitted <br />options were for a fishery, and dredging which is <br />required to go along with it, and no one was interested <br />at this time, but it could be added later. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated those people did not know <br />at the time the Council would be supporting the plan, <br />and she recommended asking for additional input, and <br />i,vtify my people %y lei. i.eY and through the newspaper. <br />it was agreed the item would be discussed further at <br />the November 14 Council meeting. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Wuori to approve Resolution 11.
