Report of.' <br />reading of ^�dinance No. 451, adopting the snow and Clerk/ <br />ice control policy, and waive the reading. hdmifilatrator <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />City Planner Herman updated the Council on. the <br />progress of recycling in the City. The percentage <br />of participants has increased, but the amount has <br />not increased proportionately. Staff hopes to have <br />word Fcom Ramsey County soon on the grant request. <br />Clerk/Administratur Pauley ?pottecl the special <br />election could possibly be held January 10, and he <br />has received notice that he will be on jury duty <br />the week of January 9, so he appointed Finance <br />Director Brager to serve as Deputy Clerk for the <br />special election. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported there are <br />vacancies on the Ramsey County Charter Commission <br />and they are publicizing it as much as possible <br />to make people aware of the opportunity. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported Dick Pellow <br />hes accepted the Council'; invitation and will <br />meet with them on December 19, aL the agenda <br />session. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley updated the Council on <br />t i:e progress of negotiations or. the tax increment <br />financing for the SYSCO development. Changes have <br />been made due to the change in value from the <br />County appraiser. <br />Mayor Linke reported the Ramsey County League of <br />Local %.overnment will hold their Christmas party <br />on December 21 at Midland Hills. <br />Motion Carried <br />Mayor Linke adjourned the meeting at 9:32 PM. 19..
