More i,.,portartly, it points out <br />specific policy issues addressed in the update. <br />Chapter I. This chapter provides minimal background <br />information on Mounds View to the reader. <br />It also explains the three areas of concern <br />which should be addressed by this update. <br />1. Community - wide Development Framework <br />2 Tr�mk Hiphwav 10 Corridor <br />3. Implementation including the revision <br />of the City's regulatory measures. <br />Chapter II_ Chapter II should update the reader as to the <br />current conditions in Mounds View. Because <br />this document is an update of the <br />Comprehensive Plan, adopted in 1980, the base <br />information is not found in this document. <br />ChaptezIII. This chapter attempts to explain the process <br />used in developing the City issues and <br />objectives. The first step in the process was <br />ascertaining Mounds View assets and <br />liabilities. After discussion of the assets <br />and liabilities specific issues emerge. <br />pages 3-5 and 3-6 list the issues and needs <br />ranking. On the whole this list is important <br />and each item should be reviewed by Council - <br />members in order to ensure your agreement. <br />These issues are the basis (or will be the <br />basis) for future policy initiatives regarding <br />City development. <br />I have listed the 14 top ranked issues. These <br />issues emerged as the more pressing concerns <br />of the survey participants. <br />this process. <br />1.
