MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: City Planner Herman <br />DATE: January 11, 1988 <br />SUBJECT: RECYCLING CONTRACT WITH SUPER CYCLE, INC. <br />Attached is a copy of the proposed contract with Super Cycle, <br />Inc. This contract is similar to the contract we had in 1988 <br />except for the following: <br />1. The cost of once -a -month pick-up has climbed to $1,933 per <br />month. <br />2. The contract provides for twice -a -month pick-up starting <br />in April at a price of $3,480 per month. <br />3. The potential to include multi -family buidings of 17 units <br />or more in the recycling program. This will be added to <br />our costs on a per building basis. <br />Twice -a -month pick-up will be on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the <br />month. <br />KJH/BAC <br />W <br />
