Call to <br />Mayor Hankner at 7:00 PM on Monday,, February 27r, 1989- Order <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Blanchard, Wuori, <br />Quick k and Mayor Hankner. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Barney and Clerk/Admini— <br />strator Pauley. <br />Motion/Second: Wuori/Blanchard to approve the <br />February 1989 minutes as presented. <br />4 ayes 0 nays <br />2. Roll Call <br />4 <br />Bob Carpenter, 2650 Lake Court Drive., asked the status 5. <br />of the library. <br />Mayor Hankner explained the Library Board had said <br />they would come up with a proposal to present to the <br />County Commissioners within 30 days, and that deadline <br />is'near, and she reviewed what is known so far.. <br />Mr. Carpenter asked if anything could be done about <br />the stop signs on Highway 10, as all stop lights take <br />so long to change. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained MnDOT will be <br />upgrading the controls for all signals sometime during <br />this construction season: and will be putting ir. new <br />timers as needed, which should help considerably. He <br />added that if that doesn't solve the problem, they will <br />ask MnDOT to look at it further. <br />Mayor Hankner explained the City has sent a resolution <br />to MnDOT asking that they look into a walk bridge <br />over Highway 10 at Silver Lake Road, but they have not <br />heard anything back yet. <br />Approval of <br />Minutes: <br />February 13, <br />1989 <br />Motion Carried <br />Residents <br />Requests and <br />Comments from <br />the Floor <br />
