Mounds View City Council February 27, 1989 <br />Regular meeting Page Seven <br />Scott Kinkaid, of Ryan Construction, provided a brief 17. Consideration <br />update to the most recent changes made for the pro- oof Resolution <br />posed development. <br />Dwight Jelle explained the fence is required around <br />the pond as it is 4 to 5' deep, and it will have a <br />3 to 1 slope. <br />Mr. Kinkaid reviewed the planned restoration, screen- <br />ing, parking and landscaping for the development. <br />Mayor Hankner stated she was pleased with the coope- <br />ration given on this, both with the wetlands aL: the <br />overall development. <br />Motion/Second: wuori/Quick to approve Resolution <br />No. 5�roving development stage plans for <br />SYSCO/Continental Minnesota Planned Unit Development, <br />Mounds View Planning Case No. 253-88, and waive the <br />reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Mr. Kinkaid explained the grading had been done last <br />fall, and the final plat is ready to be submitted <br />this week., and they would like to request permission <br />i� from the Council to begin the foundation work prior <br />to final approval. He added they have discussed this <br />with the County. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained they are re- <br />quired to begin construction work by March 1 and be <br />completed by December 31, which necessitates this <br />request. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Blanchard to permit Ryan <br />Construction to start constructive; on the Founda- <br />tion, assuming final plat approval by the County. <br />4 ayes ' 0 nays Motion Carried " <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the proposed 18. First Reading <br />ordinance would add a section to the City's per- of ordinance <br />sonnel code to add an equal opportunity statement. No. 457 Amending <br />He explained semi-annual reporting is required, Chapter 6 of <br />and the Council will receive copies of those the Mounds View <br />Municipal Code <br />reports. <br />Motion/Second: wuori/Hankner to approve the first <br />reading or Ordinance No. 457, amending Chapter 6 <br />of the Mounds View Municipal Code entitled <br />"personnel", and waive the reading. <br />4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
