Mounds View City Council <br />Regular Meeting ----------- <br />---------------------------------- <br />Park and Rec Director Saarion reviewed the statistics <br />of the Park and Rec programs and she thanked all the <br />employees who were involved in the running he <br />department and the programs. She added programs can <br />be built around instructors and their various interests <br />or talents. <br />February 27, 1989 <br />Page Nine <br />----------------- <br />Attorney Karney requested the Council authorize <br />22 <br />issuance of a check payable to Ernest LaPort, who <br />had litigation pending against the City and has <br />aoreed to accept the City's offer of settlement. <br />Motion/Second: Wuori/Blai;chard to apprnve the settle- <br />ment in t.e case between the City of Mounds View and <br />Ernest LlaPort in the amount of $1,000. <br />3 ayes 0 nays 1 abstention <br />Councilmember Quick abstained from the <br />to vote, and it <br />was the concensus of the Council prior <br />that he could abstain. <br />Report of <br />Attorney <br />Motion Carried <br />Park and Rec Director Saarion reported Mounds View 23.
