June 121 1989 . <br />Mounds View City Council Page Two <br />Regular Meeting ----------- <br />---------------------- <br />Councilmember Wuori questioned how much surface area <br />would be impervious. <br />City Planner Hren explained 625osogal,sandg6,200 sef. <br />unit, or 2,500 s.f• for this p p <br />is actually provided. <br />Kay Weisman, 7807 Bona Road, stated <br />nshe <br />irealizeste the <br />ordinance allows for putting <br />fer <br />zone, but she feels the intent was to prevent that, <br />not allow it. She added she feels the buildings will <br />be <br />too <br />close <br />the wetland,residents <br />use <br />they shouldnotthe <br />beyard <br />close toallowed <br />to push the boundary back. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained additional fill <br />would be required, whichtey thececould not do. There is <br />presently a 3-5drop-off <br />Mayor Hankner stated she was also conrcrned with tha <br />wetland, as a great deal of debris has been dumped <br />there already. She added, however, that wetland <br />alteration permits have been given in the oast to <br />build in a wetland buffer zone. <br />Councilmember Quick noted the aerial photo seems to �I <br />show the wetland was once much larger than it is <br />today. He cuestioned if pilings would be used and <br />if soil borings had been done. <br />Public Works Director Minetcr replied he. was not <br />ated they would <br />aware of any soil borings, and he stlans what their <br />have to indicate in their building p <br />plans are for construction. <br />Mayor Hankner noted this is not the first time a <br />proposal has been presented for this pieta of property, <br />and this is by far the most suitable plan to dare, <br />and the smallest. <br />Jim Cepress, owner of the property, stated soil borings <br />are on file with the City.
