She hadded athe propertyyisarage <br />or op <br />zoned R-3. <br />Mayor Hankner stated if they required a single family <br />home for that property, they would have to dcwnsone the <br />property, which could involve litigation. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley added it was zoned R-3 prior <br />to 1980. <br />Councilmember Quick questioned whether the wetland has <br />the capability to handle additional run-off from this <br />development. <br />Public Works Director Minetor replied he believedd is slifitly <br />did. The storm sewer leaving <br />that under capacity, and the developer would be required <br />to pay storm water management charges, and ne <br />f system that could be used. <br />explained the type o <br />Mayor Hankner explained what Chapter 509 is, which <br />requires the development of drainage plans for each <br />district in the City - <br />Ms. Alman questioned what type of precedent this <br />would be setting for future development in a buffer <br />zone. <br />Councilmember Quick replied he did not feel it would <br />set any precedent. He noted that the chief author <br />of the wetlands ordinance was Mayor at the time the <br />first wetlands alteration permit was issued. <br />Mayor Hankner added they look at each development <br />individually to make sure everything is in order. <br />Mayor Hankner closed the public hearing and reooened <br />the regular meeting at 7:31 PM. <br />Public Works Tora-an Ulrich requested that the name <br />of Bruce Lindall be ra:Toved from Item A of the con- <br />sent agenda, and that he be allowed to interview and <br />select another individual for the position.
