RESOLUTION NO. 2496 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW TO CONTRACT <br />WITH CENTURY FENCE FOR FENCING OF THE PUBLIC WORKS SHOP AREA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has determined that the <br />use of propane as an alternate, fuel is appropriate for the City <br />fleet; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined that it is cost effective <br />to convert 'he propane fueling station to a larger storage tank <br />and updated equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, to accommodate this conversion to a larger storage <br />tank, fencing of the propane fueling area is required by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the fencing of the entire shop area is <br />appropriate at this time in terms of cost and operation of the <br />fueling station; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has funds available for this fencing. <br />NOW, THEREFOP', BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds View authorizes City Staff to contract with <br />Century Fence Company for the fencing of the Public Works shop <br />area in accordance with their bid of $15,000; this cost to be <br />divided between the general, water and sewer funds. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 12th day of June, 1989. <br />Mayor <br />Clerk-Adxanistratcr <br />%Mw <br />
