Additionally, the <br />report showed that NCTV had under supportetd community television for 1987 <br />and 1988. <br />With chis additismal information at hand, the commission appointed a negotiating <br />committee. This committee met for the first time in December 1988 and by mid <br />January 1989 was ready to present NCTV with a response to the original <br />proposal. <br />On February 1, 1989 the committee met with Mr. Johr Eddy of NCTV to discuss <br />the proposal. At that time NCTV agreed to respond within a few days. To this <br />date. no response has been received. <br />During this period, NCTV announced that all its holdings were "up for sale". <br />After about 6 weeks, NCTV ties announced that it has sold the Northwest <br />system,Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Osseo, P.obbinsdale, etc. The North <br />Central systems were to be withdrawn from the market. <br />BA/cjp <br />r <br />t�' <br />
