WHEREAS, the Silver View Park improvement plan is as follows:
SILVER VIEW PARK PLAN
Existing Facilities:
1. Woodchipped pathway - the Commission requested that staff continue to budget
for replacement of wood chips with ag lime (750' x 8' strip) each year in the
operations budget.
2. Two adult softball fields with irrigation.
3. Landscaping - continually rearranged as needed, by forester.
4. Paved/curbed parking lot entry.
S. Soccer field - plans to connect with softball field irrigation system.
6. Yard -surface play court.
7. Benches along the pathway.
S. One (1) swing bench. r
9. Sliding hill.
10. Amphitheater - staff suggested possible changes, as the steep sides of the
amphitheater are a hazard. Two possible solutions were discussed:
a. Use it as a "slide" hill with a variety of different slides such as wave
slides and tube slides.
b. Using a grader to terrace or more gently slope amphitheater.
11. Portable restroom enclosure.
12. Signs - additional signs were suggested for each entry point to the park rather
than just the two main entries.
13. One pathway bridge and a culvert pass.
