2. Proposals by the Secretary of State and state legislators would <br />require the consolidation of all local elections on the date of <br />November general elections. Legislation incorporating these <br />provisions will be considered in the 1990 Session. <br />Please specify whether your city supports or opposes any of th= <br />proposals listed below: <br />_support a. Requiring that all local elections (municipal, county, and <br />__oppose school district) be held on the date of November general <br />elections in odd -numbered years. <br />support b. Requiring that all local elections be held on the date of <br />_oppose November general elections in either odd or even -numbered <br />years. <br />ETHICS IN GOVERMENT <br />3. Requirements for public officials (both elected and appointed <br />to comply with standards of ethical conduct and financial <br />disclosure proposed in S.F. 1606/H.F. 1748 will be considered <br />by the 1990 legislature. <br />Who must comfy: <br />City elected and appointed officials who must comply with the <br />provisions listed below include persons holding elective or <br />appointed office or employed in a public position and has the <br />authority to make or to vote on final decisions involving public <br />finance, including deposit, investment or expenditure of such <br />funds. (That would include mayors, councilmembers, city managers, <br />city administrators, city clerks, city treasurers, finance <br />directors, EDA directors, HRA directors/board members, port <br />authority directors/board members, volunteer firefighter relief <br />association bcard members, etc.) <br />CITIES OF a.
