MEMO TO: MAYOR AND COUNCIL <br />FROM: MARY SAARION, DIRECTOR <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br />DATE: AUGUST 31, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: SILVER VIEW PARK PICNIC SHELTER <br />COMMITTEE PLANS <br />The Silver View Park picnic shelter planning committee met on <br />Wednesday, August 30 to further discuss and offer ideas for the picnic <br />shelter plan. A list of ideas is attached. At the next meeting (to be held <br />Thursday, September 7) a revised plan including these suggestions will be <br />presented by Mr. Linke and reviewed by the committee. <br />The committee would like to present the plan to the City Council and <br />Parks and Recreation Commission at a pre -council meeting on Monday, <br />September 11 at 6:30 p.m. with consideration for approval at the Council <br />meeting. <br />it is the desire of this committee that this joint meeting be advertised in <br />the paper and televised over cable TV, access channel 16. <br />MS/SL <br />Attachment <br />
