Resolution <br />Board of <br />TamSey Coupy CommISSlOnerS <br />Presented By Commissioner Danna Date August 14, 1979 <br />Attention: <br />Page 2 <br />No. 79-912 <br />WHEREAS, If the I-694 bridge would be closed, for whatever reason, traffic in <br />northwest Ramsey County will become paralyzed, and the new North Crosstown river <br />crossing would provide the only viable detour for the I-694 bridge; and <br />WHEREAS, The North. Crosstown highway system, of which Highway 10 is a part, <br />was considered by the Interstate Substitution Task Force which found these projects <br />to be of first priority and that they meet all the qualifying criteria for utili- <br />zation of Interstate Substitution monies; Now, Therefore Be It <br />RESOLVED, That the Board of Ramsey County Commissioners does hereby endorse <br />the new alignment alternative as the proper option for construction of Trunk <br />Highway 10; and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, That the Commissioner of Transportation, Mr. Richard Braun, be urged <br />co select the new alignment alternative for Trunk Highway 10 as the option for con- <br />struction, and that the Department of Transporation make known its findings as soon <br />as possible to allow for progress on the highway improvement to proceed as scheduled; <br />and Be It Further <br />RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. William Crawford, <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation, District 5 office, to Mr. Wayne Murphv, <br />Minnesota Department of Transporation, District 9 office, and to Mr. Richard Braun, <br />Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Transportation. <br />ROBERT J.
