This action was expected to
facilitate aquatic program coordination amoung city programs,
Mounds View Swim Club, and community and business groups. The
New Brighton City Council in approving the agreement stipulated a
staff and council review prior to January 1, 1987.
This review process has been in progress since mid -September and
has included Mounds View staff and the Aquatics Director. New
Brighton staff concluded as a result of this review that the
program as presently constructed is not meeting objectives.
