The toll•^, ^.g Policies shall apply to the maintenance of traffic <br />signals installed under a cooperative agreement on trunk U911'"nro <br />y <br />after November 1, 1965: <br />1. In cities of the first class, the city will maintain the <br />including conduit <br />control equipment, electrical wiring Dµtw}1^ <br />and bases, and replace knocked -down equipment unless' <br />otherwise agreed to by the State. The city shall relamp, <br />clean, paint, and pay for the ^lectrica', energy used to <br />operate the equipment. <br />2. In other municipalities, it shall be the State's res- <br />ponsibility to maintain control equipment, electrical <br />knocked- <br />wiring including conduit and bases, and replace <br />the municipalities with <br />town equipment.
