ARTICLE B-V. MECHANICS WAGES <br />T e employee pr.nc pally assigned responsibility as the <br />city's Mechanic shall be compensated at a rate of $.10 <br />per hour over the Light Equipment Operator (LEO) or <br />the <br />Maintenance II rate of pay as agreed to between <br />Metropolitan Area Management Association, the City of <br />Mounds view, and I.U.O.F. Local 49 - AFL/CIO. Thy City <br />relinquishes none of its employer authority as outlined <br />in Article V of the Master Labor Agreement. In <br />recognition of this supplementary wage for mechanic's <br />work, the employee shall not receive a Maintenance III <br />rate of pay while operating equipment designated as heavy <br />equipment and requiring the Maintenance III rate of pay. <br />ARTICLE B-VI. - SICK LEAVE <br />s ck leave at the rate of one work <br />Employees s all accrue <br />day for each calendar month of full time service or major <br />fraction thereof, except that sick leave granted proba- <br />tionary employees shall not be available for use until <br />satisfactory completion of the initial probationary <br />period. <br />- <br />ARTICLE B-VII. - SEVERANCE PAY <br />Severance Pay shall be granted in the amount of 50 <br />percent of unused sick leave to employees that have <br />completed ten years of service.
