25.05 COMPUTATION OF' REQUIRED SDM CHARGE. <br />Subdivision 1. Base rite. The 1978 base rate for <br />computation of the SDM CTiargo eiall be 15.3 cents per square <br />foot. This rate shall be adjusted annually on July lot <br />according to the change in the Engineering News Record <br />Construction Cost Index for the Mlnneipo s-St. Paulaarea. <br />Subdivision 2. New developments. The SDM Charge <br />for any parcel of land upon wi ch there 1s no existing prin- <br />•.1pal building, as defined under Chapter 40 of the Municipal <br />Code, shall be the product of the base rate established in <br />Subdivision 1 above and the total runuft equivalent of the <br />proposed land uses established in Subdivision 4 below. <br />Subdivision 3. Other develo ments. The SDM Charge for <br />any parcel of land upon ;RICH <br />Eire' s an existing principal <br />building shall be the product of the base rate established <br />in Subdivision 1 above and the difference between the total <br />runoff equivalents of the existing and proposed land uses <br />established in Subdivision 4 below. <br />a. The SDM Charge shall be zero wherever the difference <br />between the total runoff equivalents of the existing <br />and proposed land uses is less than ten. <br />b. The minimum SDM Charge, except as provided in a. above, <br />shall be twenty-five dollars. <br />c. No provision herein shall be construed to prohibit <br />the payment of more than one SDM Charge for a <br />specific parcel of land. <br />Subdivision 4. Total runoff equivalent.
