Mounds View City Council t <br />April 27, 1987 <br />• <br />- <br />Regular Meeting c� <br />Page Seven <br />------------------------MJ <br />------------------ <br />Councilmember Blanchard stated she understands <br />helicopter will be back this weekend, once again <br />giving rides. <br />Attorney Meyers stated there may be liability on the <br />property owners part, and they should make sure they <br />have adequate liability insurance. <br />Mayor Linke directed Clerk/Administrator Pauley to <br />contact the FAA, as well as the owners of Loose Ends, <br />Mayor Linke reminded everyone that Clean -Up Day is <br />Mayor Linke <br />scheduled for May 2, and identification will be <br />required to leave anything. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported Public Works has <br />13. Report of <br />Clerk/ <br />been televising sanitary and storm sewers in the City <br />Administrator <br />and found the line on Fairchild between Ardan Avenue <br />and County Road J to be 2/3 full of sand and other <br />material, and it was necessary to spend $1,600 for <br />special equipment for the jet router, and the grouting <br />and repair work on that section of line will amount to <br />$2,500. He added they will be working on it this week. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley asked authorization to <br />hire a temporary worker for the task of performing <br />softball field maintenance, and other requested work. <br />Motion/Second: Blanchard/Wuori to hire Andrew Gr V <br />as a park maintenance worker, effective May 4, 19 7 <br />until August 5, 1987, at the rate of $5.50 per hoer, <br />with the funds to come from account 100-360-4020. <br />0 <br />Notion Carried <br />5 ayes nays <br />Mayor Linke adjourned the meeting at 8:22 PM. 14.
