® MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY CO CIL <br />FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRAT <br />DATE: APRIL 28, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: STREETLIGHT PETITION <br />Attached is a petition received by the City of. Mounds View <br />for a streetlight at the northeast corner of 5302 Jackson <br />Drive which is on the south boundary of Lambert Park. The <br />petitioners request this light to provide better security as <br />a result of vandalism experienced on their personal property <br />as well as Lambert Park. Staff has reviewed the request and <br />consulted with Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director <br />Saarion and Police Chief Ramacher who have concurred with <br />the advisability of the placement of this light. Also, <br />Northern States Power has indicated that a light could be <br />placed at the location requested. Therefore, Staff <br />recommends Council approval of the request. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the City Council request <br />Northern States Power to place a streetlight on the power <br />® pole located on the northeast corner of 5302 Jackson Drive. <br />DFP/mjs <br />
