In addition, -most service <br />stations of this type have customers parking immediately in front <br />of the service station. The applicant may wish to review his <br />parking configuration and amount. <br />The flow of traffic through the car wash is counter to normal <br />American practice where the motorist tends to keep to the right. <br />The car wash has traffic flowing to the left from Silver Lake <br />Road to reach the car wash. This, combined with movements from <br />the gas pumps to the exits and to the car wash will create a <br />number of conflicts. It would be logical to consider reversing <br />the flow of traffic through the car wash so that traffic entering <br />and exiting from the car wash is lined up with the "keep right" <br />concepts of traffic near the entrance. The reversed flow of <br />traffic will also provide additional storage for vehicles waiting <br />to enter the car wash. <br />The placement of the air hose and vacuum is also likely to <br />interfere with the flow of vehicles through the car wash.
