9 <br />4) v // <br />MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />FROM: CLERK -ADMINISTRATOR <br />�� <br />DATE: JULY 16, 1987 <br />SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO PERSONNEL CODE <br />Attached please find Ordinance No. 423 amending Chapter 6 of <br />the City's Code relating to personnel in conformance with <br />your direction after our recent discussions regarding <br />comparable worth. Essentially, these amendments would <br />prohibit all exempt employees in the City from earning <br />overtime pay or compensatory time for all hours worked in <br />excess of 40 hours per week. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends adoption of Ordinance No. 423. <br />DFP/mjs <br />Attachment: <br />
