Call to <br />by Mayor Linke at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 23, Order <br />1987. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, Blanchard, <br />Wuori, Quick and Mayor Links. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers and Clerk/ <br />Ad:ni::istrator Pauley. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Blanchard to approve the <br />November 9, 19B7 minutes as presented. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />2. Residents <br />represented the Mounds View Wetland Preservation Requests and <br />Committee, read a prepared statement voicing three Comments from <br />major concerns the group has with the preservation the Floor <br />of wetlands in Mounds View. <br />Mayor Linke clarified for her that Barr Engineering <br />did not give a conclusion at the recent agenda session, <br />but only an update of the work they have done so far, <br />and they will be making a formal presentation at the <br />December 14 meeting. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated that the intention of the <br />meeting with Barr Engineering was to get an update of <br />the progress they have made since they signed the <br />contract with the City. She added they have not met <br />in private or had an executive session on this project, <br />and it is the policy of the Council to make meetings <br />open to the public. <br />
