Councilmember <br />Quick <br />Mayor Linke reported he had attended design day at Mayor Linke <br />Pinewood Elementary and this is an opportunity for <br />people to volunteer their time, money, materials <br />or anything else to make this a viable project. He <br />stated a sign-up sheet will be available at City <br />Hall. <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Blanchard to remove proposed <br />Resolution No. 2263 from the table. <br />9 ayes 1 nay Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Hankner voted against the motion. <br />Mayor Linke stated the proposed resolution would <br />hopefully get the project off dead center, and he <br />read the proposed resolution, He stated he has <br />C'iiscussed the proposed resolution with the other <br />mayors involved, and has not had any negative <br />feedback from them. - <br />Motion/Second: Linke/Wuori to approve Resolution <br />No. 2263. <br />3 ayes 2 nays Motion Carried: <br />Councilmembers Quick and Hankner voted against the <br />motion. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she has spoken with <br />other mayors, and she would like to see a forum for <br />all the Councilmembers to put together a resolution <br />that they all agree on. She added they need to <br />lobby Mounds View's position before trying to get = <br />everyone to support it. <br />Mayor Linke stated there is a meeting scheduled at <br />the New Brighton City Hall at 7 PM on November 24, <br />sponsored by Commissioners McCarty and Salverda, to <br />discuss the library issue. <br />Duane McCarty gave an update to the Council of where <br />the issue is currently, stating he feels the the <br />discussion is down to one issue, of what will become <br />of the Roseville facility. <br />
