RESOLUTION NO. 2276 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COoNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO <br />CONSTRUCT ACCESSORY BUILDING, 8319 GROVELAND ROAD, <br />ODAS NEWTON, PLANNING CASE NO. 229-87 <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Odas Newton, 8319 Groveland Road, has <br />requested a conditional use permit to allow for conversion of a <br />240 square foot garayP :..) a storage building; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Municipal Code, Chapter 40.10, <br />Subdivision C(2)(c), prov:des that the maximum size of an <br />accessory building in an R-1 District shall be 216 square feet <br />unless a conditional use permit is awarded by the City; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Municipal Code, Chapter 40.10, <br />Subdivision D(6) A through E, provides an accessory building may <br />be permitted up to 400 square feet when said building is a <br />permanent structure and is designed and maintained to provide a <br />uniform appearance with the principal dwelling unit; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br />the applicant's request for a conditional use permit and <br />determines that it is in conformance with the aforementioned <br />conditions. ?t <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br />the City of Mounds view approves of a conditional use permit to <br />allow for conversion of a 240 square foot accessory building by <br />Odas Newton, 8319 Groveland Road, legally known as Lot 5, Block <br />1, Gustafson's 1st Addition and in said Auditor's Subdivision <br />No. 89 the north 95.07 feet (subject to road and easements) of <br />Lot 68, ramsey County, Minnesota, contingent upon the following: <br />1. The use of the building shall be limited to storage of <br />domestic supply and non-commercial r;creational <br />equipment as provided for in Municipal Code Chapter <br />43.10, Subdivision C(2). <br />2. No driving surface shall be allowed to the building. <br />The existing driveway will be seeded for removal. <br />3. Any vehicle stored in the building must be licensed <br />with the Minnesota Department of Transportation as a <br />collector or vintage vehicle. <br />4. The accessory use must be maintained to provide a <br />` uniform appearance with the dwelling unit. <br />
