MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL `kE' 10 <br />FROM: MARY SAARION, DIRECTOR <br />PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br />i <br />DATE: December 15, 1987 <br />RE: Budget transfer request <br />I would like to request that the Council consider the transfer of <br />wage expenditures of two part-time summer public works employees <br />from Parks to Water and Sewer. <br />Each department including water and sewer budgeted for one part-time <br />summer employee. Parks budgeted for two part-time summer employees. <br />Four men were hired and were to perform work understanding that they <br />would be used in various departments as necessary. Inadvertantly, <br />George Pajunen and Timothy Hetland were approved for employment with <br />wages funded through the Parks Department. The wage expenditure <br />from designated departments should be have been: <br />Dan Otterson - Parks <br />CAndrew Gray - Parks <br />George Pajunen - {dater <br />Timothy Hetland - Sewer <br />RECOMMENDATION: To recind the past motion to fund the wages of <br />George Pajuner. and Timothy Hetland from the Parks fund and approve <br />the transfer of these expenditures to water, 700-121-4020 and sewer, <br />730-121-4020. <br />
