SEH PAVErD;NT MANAGER <br />The SEH PAVEMENT MANAGER System will assist the City,in managing <br />one of their most valuable assets - STREETS. <br />The SEH PAVEMENT MANAGER will assist the City Council as well as <br />staff in the budgeting process for street maintenance and capital <br />improvements. <br />SEH PAVEMENT MANAGER provides numerous reports in any desired <br />order from complete street inventory, to engineering _ <br />recommendations, to capital improvement programs. <br />The SEH PAVEMENT MANAGER System includes the following: <br />DATA BASE MANAGER <br />SEH proposes to utilize DATA BASE MANAGER software on IEM <br />computer equipment for the storage, sorting and retrieval of <br />pavement rating data. SEH will evaluate this data and prepare <br />the report identifying maintenance priorities and costs. The <br />study approach is as follows: <br />CONDITION RATING METHOD <br />The rating method is the SURFACE CONDITION RATING SYSTEM <br />developed by the Civil and Mineral Engineering Department, <br />University of Minnesota as part of NCHRP Project 10-9. <br />Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. will: <br />1. Provide DATA BASE MANAGER software for the IBM PC <br />Computer. <br />2. Review rating method with City and establish data <br />collection neads and print out format. <br />
