ORDINANCE Nn. 436 <br />PAGE TWO OF TWO <br />be discharged or affected by such a repeal or <br />alteration; but prosecutions and s•aits for <br />such offenses, liabilities, penalties or <br />forfeitures shall be instituted and proceeded <br />with in all respects as if such prior <br />ordinance or part thereof had not been <br />repealed or altered. <br />SECTION V. Separability. If any chapter, section, <br />sentence, clause or other part of the Code <br />shall be adjudged void and of no effect, for <br />any reason whatsoever, such decision shall not <br />affect the validity of any of the other <br />portions of the Code. <br />SECTION VI. Publication of Code and Effective Date. This <br />ordinance, the Code, together with such <br />indexes, supplements, appendixes or other <br />material, shall be prepared in book form and a <br />substantial quantity of copies shall be <br />available for inspection and distribution to <br />the public. Copies of the complete Code or a <br />portion thereof can be purchased from the City <br />Clerk at a cost to be established by the City <br />Clerk based on the reproduction expenses <br />incurred by the municipality. A notice that <br />copies of the recodification are available at <br />the office of the City Clerk for examination v� <br />and distribution shall be published in the <br />official newspaper for at least two successive <br />weeks. <br />SECTION VII. Prima Facie Evidence.
