I was <br />originally hired as a project engineer in 1981 and <br />subsequently have been prc..ioted to City Engineer and then to <br />Public Works Director. <br />I am responsible for the management and administration of <br />the Department of Public Works. This includes policy <br />formulation, staffing, organization, and planning of all <br />facets of the department as well as the daily operations of <br />the divisions within the department. I am responsible for <br />nearly $5,000,000 of the City's $9,000,000 budget. The <br />activities in my department include Engineering, Street and <br />Traffic Maintenance, Storm Water Management, and Fleet <br />Management. <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />August, 1983 thru May, 1984 <br />I was the Construction Project Superintendent during this <br />period of time. I was responsible for all the construction <br />activities of the Anoka County Highway Department; including <br />Federal Aid, State Aid, and County funded projects. <br />
