Reports of <br />CouncilmemberA <br />Councilmember. <br />Wuori <br />Councilmember Quick asked that the Council consider <br />Councilmember <br />proclaiming a week in which to commend the Pinewood <br />Quick <br />Park volunteers, as they had not been thanked publicly <br />yet by the Council. <br />Motion Second: Quick/Linke to direct Staff ':o write <br />a proclamation designating the week of June 19-25 as <br />Pinewood Playground Volunteer Week. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion CaCreied <br />Councilmember Blanchard reminded everyone that June 21 <br />Councilmember <br />is the first recycling day. She also reported the <br />Blanchard <br />30th anniversary plans aL: coming along well, and a <br />dance will be held at the Bel -Rae Ballroom on July 13, <br />with the Dick Mackos group playing, and admission will <br />be free to all people wearing an anniversary button. <br />The Council and Staff will be waiters and waitresses <br />for the evening. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported the Park and Rec <br />Councilme.mber <br />Commission is looking at Hillview Park again, to <br />Hankner <br />come up with a better layout. She also reported the <br />Council will be taking action on Silvar View Park Trail <br />at the June 27 meeting. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley advised that Amoco has <br />submitted their park dedication fee of $17,000. <br />Mayor Linke asked that a vacant house at 2309 or 2317 <br />Mayor Links <br />Hillview be looked at, as there are noxious weeds <br />that should be removed. <br />Councilmember Hankner reported there is also a vacant <br />home at 7889 Woudlawn which needs looking into. <br />
