Mounds View City Council May 23, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Nine <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reported there had been a <br />water rain break at 7280 Silver Lake Road recently. <br />and a good deal of peat was encountered during the <br />repair. <br />Ric Minetor, Public Works Director, explained <br />what happened with the water main, and he advised <br />the soil borings would be money well spent, as it <br />is much less expensive than going back and repairing <br />houses later. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Iluori to .uthorize Short- <br />E ott-Hen rickson, Inc, to prepare plans and specs <br />for the Silver Lake Road sanitary sewer repair at a <br />cost not to exceed $12,500, and authorize Twin City <br />Testing to pertcrm the soil borings at an additional <br />$4,000 in cost. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Motion Carried <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley explained the City has <br />16.
