Mounds View City Council June 13, 1988 <br />Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />Motion Second: Hankner/Quick to approve Resolution 21. Consideration <br />No. , approving a conditional use permit for of Resolution. <br />Church Upon the Rock, 7901 Red Oak Drive, contin- No. 2341 <br />gent upon satisfactory negotiations occurring <br />between the current property owner at 1959 Red Oak <br />Drive -and the Church, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Hankner explained this resolution 22, Consideration' <br />establishing an environmental task force was not cut of Resolution <br />in stone, and it is a group that will be evolving No. 2339 <br />over time. There was discussion on having 9 members, <br />and the flexibility it could allow. <br />Councilmember Hankner stated she would like some time <br />to work with this before putting it into an ordinance, <br />and she would hope the Council •mould begin making <br />appointments at the next regular meeting. She added <br />the information could be cable -cast, put in the area <br />newspapers, spread by word of mouth, and so forth. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated it was the hope o° <br />the Council to get members for the task force from <br />((�� all around the City. <br />C. Motion/Second: Hankner/Quick to adopt Resolution <br />No. 2339, establishing an environmental quality <br />task force, and waive the reading of the resolution. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Public Works Director Minetor reviewed his memo of <br />June 8 regarding emergency work to be done on Well <br />No. 2. <br />Motion/Second: Quick/Hankner to approve a contract <br />with Layne Minnesota Company for emergency repair work <br />on Well No. 2 in the amount of $3,328, to be charged <br />to the water fund. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley advised that Staff would <br />recommend approval of the preliminary plat for the <br />major subdivision of Mounds View Business Park 2nd <br />Addition. <br />0 <br />Motion Carried <br />23. Approval of <br />Contract with <br />Layne Minnesot <br />Motion Carried <br />24. Consideration <br />of Resolution <br />No. 2342 <br />
