Wuori Councilmember Quick asked that the Council consider Councilmember proclaiming a week in which to commend the Pinewood Quick Park volunteers, as they had not been thanked publicly yet by the Council Motion/Second: Quick/Linke to direct Staff to write a proclamation designating the week of June 19-25 as Pinewood Playground Volunteer Week. 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried Councilmember Blanchard reminded everyone that June 21 Councilmember isthe first recycling day. She also reported the Blanchard 30th anniversary plans are coming along well, and a dance will be held at the Bel -Rae Ballroom on July 13, with the Dick Mackos group playing, and admission will be free to all people wearing an anniversary button. The Council and Staff will be waiters and wait.-^sses for the evening. Councilmember Hankner reported the Park and Rec Councilmember Commission is looking et Hillview Park again, to Hankner come up with a better layout. She also reported the Council will be taking action on Silver View Park Trail at the June 27 meeting. Clerk/Administrator Pauley advised that Amoco has submitted their park dedication fee of $17,000. Mayor Linke asked that a vacant house at 2309 or 2317 Mayor Links Hillview be looked at, as there are noxious weeds that should be removed. )Councilnember Hankner reported there is zlso a vacant home at 7889 Woodlawn which needs looking into.
