Pauley, Clerk Administrator <br />Dear Don: <br />We were authorized to perform the Edgewood District drainage plan <br />at an hourly rate not to exceed $10,000. Our original estimate <br />for the work was on the order of $9,000 to $10,000. <br />( Having reviewed the plan yourself along with the City Council, <br />you are aware of the extra work we had to perform to make the <br />drainage system work in this area. Due to this extra work, our <br />final costs now amount to $14,908.45 as can be seen on the <br />attached invoice. Although our work was being performed on an <br />hourly rate with a not to exceed figure of $10,000, we would <br />appreciate it if the City would consider additional compensation <br />to cover the extra work. I think you will agree that the product <br />the City received is worth the fee incurred. <br />Based on our experience with this project, our proposal for the <br />work on the Arden Avenue drainage area was purposely made as a <br />two phase proposal so that the total engineering fee could be <br />better estimated after initial review and analysis, y <br />We would appreciate it if the City of Mounds View could consider <br />reimbursing SEH for the additional fee on this project.
