RESOLUTION 10118 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ACCEPTING THE MINNESOTA ARTS AND CULTURAL HERITAGE FUND (ACHF) GRANT <br /> MONIES FOR THE TRIBUTE PARK <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approved Concept 5 for the Tribute Park, Resolution 10040 <br /> and Resolution 10059 approving the Granite Features for the Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, included in Tribute Park is the installation of exposed aggregate sidewalks, <br /> a sidewalk along the South end of the City Hall parking lot, flag poles and lighting for the trail, <br /> features and flag poles; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff applied for a Grant from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage <br /> Fund (ACHF)for $50,000.00; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View was selected as a recipient of a $10,000.00 ACHF <br /> Grant, for celebrating, recognizing, and honoring the sacrifices of those who served in the <br /> military; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council approve the attached resolution <br /> accepting the Grant from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF) for <br /> $10,000.00. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. Accepts the Grant from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACHF) in the amount of <br /> $10,000.00, for the Tribute Park. <br /> 2. The Mayor and City Administrator and Public Works Director are hereby authorized <br /> and directed to execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions <br /> contemplated by this Resolution. <br /> 3.
