It also includes an <br />attached cost analysis outlining the expenses involved in transitioning from our current <br />platform, Revize, to CivicPlus. <br /> <br />Background: <br />At the direction of Council, staff conducted research into an alternative website <br />management platform with a focus on CivicPlus, a provider widely used by municipal <br />governments. The purpose of this evaluation was to determine whether CivicPlus would <br />better serve our operational needs, improve user experience with regard to mobile <br />devices, and provide more comprehensive support and functionality at a cost that would <br />be affordable for the City. <br /> <br />Findings: <br />Staff reviewed CivicPlus features, client references, service levels, integration <br />capabilities, and design customization options. Key highlights include: <br /> <br />• Government-centric design with templates tailored for municipal use <br />• Robust content management tools allowing for decentralized updates <br />• ADA compliance support and ongoing updates to accessibility features <br />• 24/7 customer support and training resources <br />• Security and cloud-based hosting with automatic updates <br /> <br />Financial Impact: <br />Currently, REVIZE is charging $2,760.00 for their entire system each year, <br />including their ADA Compliance. A redesign would increase the cost, as we are <br />currently working off a year-expired contract with Revize. Civic Plus, offers <br />integration with Community Development for $94,799.75 with a 25% signing discount if <br />enacted by October 1, 2025. BS&A renewed in 2025 for $14,599.00. The fees to <br />continue website hosting with Community Development included would cost $61,420.00 <br />for the first year, included in the $94,799.75. The second year incurs a 5% uplift and <br />would cost $64,491.00. A third year would cost $67,715.55 and a fourth year in a four- <br />year contract would be $71,101.33.
