He indicated a developer could always request lower or <br />higher parking requirements. <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Lindstrom closed the public hearing at 6:31 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Clark. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance <br />1044 Amending Title XV, Chapter 160 of the Mounds View Municipal Code Relating to Off- <br />Street Parking Requirements. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom thanked the Planning Commission and the consultant firm for their efforts on <br />this Ordinance. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Clark/Gunn/Meehlhause/Smith/Lindstrom. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 10116, Approving the Strategic Plan. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the Council approve the City’s strategic plan. He <br />explained the Council has been reviewing the plan section by section and the plan was now ready <br />for Council approval. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom thanked staff for all of their efforts on this document. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 10116, <br />Approving the Strategic Plan. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 10113, Authorizing the Purchase of a 2025 Tymco, 500X <br />Freightliner Street Sweeper. <br /> <br />Public Works Superintendent Szurek requested the Council authorize the purchase of a 2025 <br />Tymco, 500X Freightliner Street Sweeper. He reported the City sweeps the streets and roadways <br />four to eight times per year in order to keep leaves and other nitrates out of waterways. He <br />commented on three different units that were looked at and noted staff was recommending the <br />purchase of a Tymco street sweeper. It was noted staff had budgeted $400,000 for this purchase <br />and the bid price came in at $367,765. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked when this piece of equipment would be delivered. Public <br />Works Superintendent Szurek anticipated the street sweeper would be delivered by January 1, <br />2026. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause questioned how long the City has had its current street sweeper.
