RESOLUTION 10128 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING A WATER TOWER LEASE WITH AT&T <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has been negotiating with New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, <br /> d/b/a AT&T's, agent, regarding a new lease agreement for placing antennas and <br /> equipment on the Mounds View water tower, for over three years; <br /> WHEREAS, this new lease will allow the tenant to use approximately 300 square <br /> feet inside the fenced in area next to the booster station for their equipment cabinets, as <br /> well as locations on the sides of the tower for antennas; and <br /> WHEREAS, the amount of the lease is for $36,846.09 annual with a 4% annual <br /> increase on January 1 of each year; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City attorney has assisted in developing and reviewing the lease <br /> and agrees with the final lease agreement. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. Approves the Lease Agreement New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, d/b/a AT&, for <br /> $36,846.09 yearly with an annual 4% increase January 1 each year. <br /> 2. The term of the initial lease shall be for 5 years, with the option to extend the lease <br /> for three, five-year renewal periods. <br /> 3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all <br /> appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this resolution. <br /> 4.
