RESOLUTION NO. 10123 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE JOINT POWERS <br /> AGREEMENT WITH NORTH METRO MAYORS ASSOCIATION <br /> WHEREAS, the purpose of the Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) is to establish an <br /> organization to promote transportation and economic development projects and to assist <br /> in conducting government functions effectively and efficiently in the member communities <br /> of the northern metropolitan area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has been a member of the North Metro <br /> Mayors Association (NMMA) for thirty years; and <br /> WHEREAS, the NMMA has determined that it is in the best interest of the public <br /> to amend the JPA to allow the City of Crystal, Minnesota, as a member; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View agrees with the NMMA <br /> that it is in the best interest of the public and the City of Mounds View to approve the <br /> amendment. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View hereby approves an amendment to the Joint Powers Agreement (Second <br /> Amended Joint Powers Agreement) with the North Metro Mayors Association to allow <br /> membership by the City of Crystal, Minnesota (Exhibit A). <br /> Adopted this 14t" day of July, 2025. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> Attest: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br /> The Mounds View Vision <br /> A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
