RESOLUTION 10145 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR A STORAGE BUILDING AT 8031 GREENWOOD DRIVE; <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE CM2025-0001 <br />WHEREAS, Thomas and Jodi Kriesel own the residential property at 8031 <br />Greenwood Drive, Parcel ID 063023410020, zoned R-1 Single Family Residential; and, <br />WHEREAS, the property is legally described as: <br />LOT 30, SPRING LAKE PARK HILL VIEW, EXCLUDING THE NORTH 80 FEET <br />OF SAID LOT; and <br />WHEREAS, the property consists of a house, attached garage and storage <br />building. The square footage of the accessory buildings is approximately 707 square <br />feet. The applicant proposes an addition if a new storage building and removal of <br />existing storage building, resulting in 1,600-square-foot accessory buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Zoning Code standards allow an accessory building of <br />more than 952 square feet only with a conditional use permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the requested <br />garage addition project at a duly noticed public hearing, and has recommended <br />approval of the conditional use permit, with conditions. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />hereby approves of the conditional use permit for a 30-foot by 38-foot, 1,140-square- <br />foot storage building addition on the property at 8031 Greenwood Drive, resulting in a <br />total accessory building area of 1,600 square feet, as submitted by the applicant per the <br />building plans from Omar Abu-Yasein of American Carports dated 7-31-25, with <br />dimensions of the additional storage building'by the applicant; with the following <br />conditions and findings of fact: <br />
